Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our tests of cleaning and tackling a variety of floor types. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models work with your smartphone. Check for an application that lets you save maps, create schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos available on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and integrates with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without colliding with them and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without issue, though it occasionally struggled to get down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a great job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on the flat side against the floor and lifting itself when it reached carpet or rug.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ based on how often you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. You'll need to wash out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. You will also need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to avoid them becoming clogged up with dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution for your cleaning requirements. robot vacuum cleaner amazon has 8,700Pa of suction and offers a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. The mops are cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you through the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or filled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does excellent job of vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that effortlessly picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small mats and rugs at my home (which you can mitigate by defining virtual boundaries in the app). Its mopping is quite good as well, with a pair of spinning mops that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station as needed. Mops can also be refilled at the top of the station if needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their latest flagship model has even more impressive features. It has outstanding cleaning performance and hands-off maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition, and an extended side brush ensure an efficient, customized clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It also cleaned the dirtiest areas well, avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically extends to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that run along baseboards.
Its navigation system is intelligent, navigating narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can easily move from one room to another without reversing direction, which is a handy feature for larger homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide space around obstacles. This can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and streamlined. It should be easy to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you plan and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely, for real-time video supervision. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does a great job of removing debris and dirt but it's not always able to get every last bit of dust. This is why it's crucial to make use of your regular vacuum once a week, especially to clean dust from corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect to your Wi-Fi at home network and works with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more convenient addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's pricier S-series models, including the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It is equipped with the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it doesn't have mopping capabilities, and also has plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen in this price range, even though it's not equipped to clean your floors. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa and an automatic-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you select your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system that allows hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive, with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't pick up cables or kitty litter, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that allows it to reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. It also has a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. This robot can detect carpets and increase suction if necessary. The app allows you to mark off areas you want to avoid, which is a nice feature.
