Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop provide the convenience of removing dry debris (dust dirt, grit) and wet mess (spills, staining) in one go without the need to change devices. autonomous vacuum can save space when compared to two separate units, especially in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot will offer excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. Look for models with docks that let them automatically empty their bins, replenish their water tanks and wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has plenty to offer at a affordable price, and it's one of the easiest robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking is simple and the quick-start manual gets you running in no time with an entire dust bag, water tank and hard floor solution.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops are spun at high speed and use 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to take away pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum comes with four power modes, a variety of brushes and attachments and an intuitive app that lets you pick the exact kind of cleaning you'd like to have for each room.
For example, you can decide to let the robot do a deep clean in the kitchen and living rooms but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors and smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models can't. Its only drawback is that it tends to smash into walls and other objects at full speed. However, just a glance at the history of cleaning in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing and where it's headed, and which obstacles it's avoided.
A large LCD screen on the docking station informs you when maintenance jobs must be completed like emptying the debris tray, and washing the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank, by using a 600ml bottle filled with the eufy's solution.
Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long running time. The mop can run for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can run for 136 minutes in normal mode, prior to needing to recharge or returning back to the base. The app is easy to use and intuitive, allowing you to see all the details of the cleaning.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the latest version of the company's flagship robot mop and vacuum. It's not like the model from last year it comes with an agitator that doubles in its mopping pad which significantly improves its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an improved suction power that allows it to pull up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners could miss.
The Roborock model, like the other two I tried is equipped with infrared and 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it avoid obstacles such as furniture, walls and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by having a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It can then change its direction automatically and clean around the objects without stumbling.
It's the most expensive model I've tested, but it also has the most features. Its sleek, angular design is eye-catching and it has only three physical buttons which include the power button which also resumes cleaning; a mop button that doubles as a child lock; and a home button that can send the robot back to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only negative I found with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't removable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if required, but it's a challenge to remove the mount for washing manually. I've observed that any soft carpet the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, and that could cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and set up these advanced features. It also contains maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's life. You'll have to go through some hoops to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame, considering how efficient it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its smart design allows you to personalize and efficiently clean while saving time.
The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to provide 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the top alternatives available. This powerful vacuum can clean up pet hair, crumbs and other dry mess. It also comes with a high-quality mop that makes hard floors sparkling clean, even with a wet pad. In addition, the X40 is extremely quiet during it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of sound when switching between modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.
The X40 also comes with a side brush that can be extended and lifted. This allows it to reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture with curved edges such as table and chair legs. The robot can also reach under low-profile furnishings which makes it an ideal option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush tilts automatically down when it detects wet spots. This is a great feature that allows the X40 to prevent damage to floors from the frequent back-and-forth movement.
Contrary to other robots which only focus on one task, the X40 can perform both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or in a series. It can also be programmed to avoid areas that have carpet and only mop hard floors or reverse the process. It can be controlled via the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is easy to use and understand and the X40 has many smart features that are simple to configure. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. It is also possible to alter suction power, switch modes, view floor plans and maps, and control mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with many convenient features that make it a great choice for busy families. The docking station will automatically empty the dustbin and wash the mop pads and refill them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It can also detect when the mop pad is filled and alert you before it gets overflowing, reducing the necessity for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. It does have many features that make it stand out. Its mops have a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. It makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly than the conventional method, and it comes with an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also remove pet hair, dirt particles and remove spills and dirty spots.
Its mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is a great feature as it keeps mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that we've yet to see on other robot vacuum and mop models and it could be a great method to keep your home clean for longer.
There are a lot of choices, including the possibility to schedule cleanings and change preferences. robotic hoovers can be set via the app, or via buttons that can be found on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has many options to customize your cleaning routine. It also has many features that aren't available on other robots, such as the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction whenever it detects dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design that has a white-and-metallic look that looks elegant and sophisticated. It's a little heavier than some of the other two-in-one robots on this list, at 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy, and it feels sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is well-designed and the double-rotating mop is great for hard floors or in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice touch.
